Major Responsibilities:
- Â Greeting and assisting customers upon entering the store
- Performing register duties, inclusive of but not limited to cashier functions.
- Maintaining shelves and display areas (keeping stock clean and tidy)
- Restocking shelves
- Pricing of merchandise/stock correctly and in a timely fashion
- Making sure the correct price tags / tripods are always on all products on display.
- Requesting merchandise from the warehouse and/or other branches
- Assisting customers via telephone or email and preparing quotations on request
- Requesting special orders for customers not carried in store via the request sheet and inquiring with the respective ordering person(s)

- Rracking orders; requesting quotations for parts, and following up proactively
- Sending bi-weekly Brand Specialist Report
- Keeping up to date on all the products carried in the store and any other products requested by customers.
- Arranging of deliveries for customers when necessary
- Assembly of furniture for display and on customer’s request
- Price comparisons on request
- Assisting customers, when necessary, with taking stock / merchandise to their vehicle
- Providing a weekly product solution when it is that staff member’s turn.
- Checking of items brought in (return/repair) by customer thoroughly.
- When accepting work orders, noting all items customers have brought in on the work sheet.
- Preparing the Cash up at the end of the shift
- Keeping stock room clean and tidy
- Ensuring paper rolls for machines are at adequate levels.
- Ensuring each cashier machine has adequate cash denominations to provide change for transactions
- Clocking in and out when reporting for a shift, lunch, breaks or when leaving the stores and
- Providing notes for these
- Disposing of all garbage at the end of each day and boxes after stock is checked off.
- Assist with RMA items.
- Reporting any issues or incidents in a timely manner to supervisor/manager
- Covering/helping/handling the store during busy times or staff shortage
- Maintain cleanliness of your working environment and adhere to health & safety policies.
- Any other suitable requests
